We believe that we're designed to create, connect, and cultivate God's purpose for our lives. With each cup of our coffee, we aim to inspire you to foster connection with community and bring the garden back into our daily lives.

Hello! We are the Schilmoellers.

Garden Coffee was created with a deeper purpose in mind. We felt called to build a business that reflects God’s design for us—to be creators and connectors as He is. With our many years of building out coffee shops and businesses in Minneapolis, we decided to go back to our roots where Katelyn grew up, Cottage Grove. Our desire was to be involved in the local community through our small business. Garden Coffee is Inspired by the beauty of God’s creation story. We founded Garden Coffee to roast high quality coffee, connect deeply with people, and share life with those around us. Our mission is to go beyond serving great coffee; it’s about fostering community and bringing people together in meaningful ways as God designed.
